So I went to a bridal shower today, which was fun, but as I was driving home I came to realize how much more fun I have when I am with DH and kids. I'd much rather do stuff with them then hang out with my old friends, there are just too many differences in our lives at this point. Hopefully once they start having kids, we'll be able to connect again!

Kids have a way of changing relationships. It just puts you in a different place with different priorities. Hang in there....you'll connect with them again.
